Description
Five Hearts is an exclusive vintage named in honor of the McClain family of 3 daughters and Jason and Sofia. A family of five. The flavors of this wine evolve in the glass over the first hour.
TASTING: Medium-bodied. A very exciting blend that will not disappoint. The Petite Sirah & Merlot bring a bold richness to the wine while the Sangiovese helps to smooth out the finish. It is fruit-forward and complex.
PAIRING: Filet Mignon or lamb chops with sauteed mushrooms, caramelized onions, and grilled vegetables.
AGING: 22 months in French oak barrels
VARIETAL: 57% Petite Syrah | 27% Sangiovese | 16% Merlot
VINEYARD: Santa Ynez Valley
ALC: 15.5% by vol.
