Kayla’s Crush is a beautiful twist to an uncommon varietal. Designed to be heavier than other Cabernet Francs, this blend will show how easy it is to fall in love with a great glass of wine. Enjoy with those that you love the most.

TASTING:  Easy to drink and medium-bodied. Starting with a fruit-forward nose with a hint of blackberries, plum, and aromas of chocolate you will find a slight hint of Bell pepper with a touch of stewed plums. It has a delightful mouthfeel, dry finish, balanced tannins, and acidity. On the palate… you will pick up Pomegranate, Candied strawberries, cherries, and baked figs.  It has characteristics of boulder wines without heavy tannins or acidity.

PAIRING:  Lobster Ravioli

AGING:  36 months in 80% French oak and 20% American oak barrels

VARIETAL:  78% Cabernet Franc | 22% Cabernet Sauvignon 

VINEYARD:  Santa Ynez Valley

NAMED AFTER:  The oldest daughter of Jason & Sofia McClain, Kayla McClain.  A beautiful and sophisticated soul.

ALC: 14.66% by vol.
