Have you ever dreamed of having a wine named after you?

Would you like to blend your wine?

Well wait no more…… the time has arrived.

We are breaking into the barrels and bringing down samples of our next release of wines and we need your help. We are looking for the next great blend and we want our member’s guests and fans to lend a hand.

We are so excited to have this awesome opportunity to let you become a strong and intimate part of the wine-making process at McClain Cellars. This is a blending party for two so grab your significant other, friends, family and get ready to blend your own bottle of our “stupid” good wine. We are going to have so much fun blending our own bottles and just hanging out! each ticket admits 2 people so if you have 3… you can either find a friend or drink a bit more. 🙂

Every guest will have an opportunity to really get their hands and pallet into the winemaking process. You will be able to select from Red or White wines to blend with. The choice is totally up to you. we will pull barrels samples of 6 different white wines and 6 different red wines for you to work with. We will gather these wines into small 187ml bottles and corked and just wait for you to work with them. We will also supply you with beakers for measuring, a notepad to write down what you like and do not like and a glass to sample with. You will then start blending and tasting until you’ve created the ultimate selection.

Once you have made your final blend, we will taste it and pick a winner. The best blends will become McClain Cellars wines and your name will go on the back of the bottle as the blender. BOOM!!!!! Super Cool! Each couple will get 1 bottle of the wine that they created to enjoy at home. After the event, our team will head back to the winery, design a label just for you and deliver a bottle of your special creation to enjoy. If you want more than one, just say the word… we got you!

Jason & Sofia will be on hand to help you through the blending process. The amazing thing is… there is no wrong answer. If you like it… it goes in s a bottle.

Your ticket for this amazing wine blending party will include the following:

Each couple will get (6) 187ml wine bottles of Red or White wine to blend and taste from our barrel collection.
Each team will have a complete beaker set to use to help measure and create the wine blends.
A complete formula sheet to help you catalog what works and what does not work as you blend through these creations.

We will include:

– (1) 750ml bottle of your own blend with your own name! (YES – You can order more if it is that good!)

– Buffet Style dinner is also provided.
– With 6 glasses of wine… we want to be sure everyone has an awesome experience making wine.

NOTE: We hope you understand that the final bottle will not be ready the night of the blending party! We will take all of your blends and bottle them in our winery and have them ready for you to pick up in the lounge at a later date! Shipping will also be available at a fee depending on the state so please let us that night if you would like it shipped!!
