We offer a “state of the art” custom crush facility in Buellton, CA. Our services range from complete winemaking services, and crush-and-go, to basic destemming, fermentation, barrel management, and simple case-good storage.

Led by Dean Guzman, Head Winemaker for McClain Cellars, our team has the facility and experience to affordably carry the weight as a custom crush operation. We can take your wine from grape to bottle all in-house. We have the ability to help a start-up winery establish a brand and a product or take over the production needs of established organizations and help them to better manage their wine production needs.

Custom drains, a complete water management system, tanks ranging from 1-ton bins to 10-ton closed tops. We have forklifts, pumps, 25-foot ceiling, and everything you need to manage a state-of-the-art wine-making facility. We are excited to finally offer our services to other wineries, companies, and individuals looking for a clean and safe place to produce quality wines on the Central Coast of California.

We just did the wine and chocolate truffle pairing it is indeed one of the best wine tasting at Solvang! Our server Allie (if I remembered correctly), is very sweet! She helped us a lot. Love the Summer Breeze and white chocolate lavender pairing!

This winery is the best in oc due to their class, service, and quality of wine. We stumbled in with our 11 year old and were pleasantly surprised to be welcomed by super friendly staff that said there’s a video game for him to play while we cooled off with a white & bubbles flight. To the side of the wine bar is a chic game room. And we enjoyed picking a few cheeses for them to make us a cheese board too. Super friendly and welcoming staff!

Our wine educator Antonio gave us a personalized tasting that made us fall in love with the wines at McClain. He took the time to let us know which grapes and notes would best suit us based on our preferences and led us to the tastings that would be the best. Overall an amazing experience that will make us visit the locations closest to us in Laguna Beach and Irvine.

Just amazing. The price point is high but it's well worth it. This some of the finest wines I've tasted outside of going to a Vineyard itself. I was truly impressed with every red wine I sampled, including blends, which usually aren't my thing. The service was outstanding as well. I highly recommend this venue if you are a wine lover and you are in Laguna Beach

The best wine tasting in all of Laguna. The wine pairs amazing with the aesthetic of the scenery outside along amazing zest of all the exquisite cheese they have to offer. McClain Cellars was recommended to me by another local wine tasting room and it did not disappoint! They have charcuterie and wine flights and our server Janet made some really great recommendations. Will definitely be coming back!

LOVE THIS PLACE! Wines are totally worth the price point, some of the best wines I’ve found in OC. Especially the Savannah Grace and the Olsen Ovation. Live music on Saturdays and Sundays. Always great artists. Charcuterie if you need something to snack on. Great restaurants next door for dinner after your wine tasting. An overall win win. You’ll find me here often 😊

Bomb wine (worth the high price point), Taylor and Ariel attentive despite the crowd that was there. Frank Duvall happened to be playing this particular Sunday, so you had good wine, good music 100% will definitely be back!

This place is wonderful! Not just the wines (which are fantastic) but the wine hostesses, particularly Elizabeth, are top notch! We had the best time enjoying our flights... my wife had the white wine flight and I had the owners all red flight. Some of the best wine we've ever sampled! We ended up joining their wine club. We had great conversation and a great time overall. Highly recommend this winery with great indoor and outdoor spaces as well as a billiard table and lots of snacks. We will return anytime we're visiting Solvang!

First of all, a beautiful tasting room here in Solvang. We sat outside at our cute little fire pit table. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. We even tried the popcorn flight, which was good , not great, but I just thought some of them could use a little little bit more flavor, but I think the truffle was my favorite.I bought a bottle of wine, the Sofia, which was very good and also my daughters name is Sophia… would definitely go back again.

We really enjoyed the service by Taylor. We picked a wine flight to sample that was too fruity and not in our desired palette, Taylor noticed and brought us something drier and more of our liking. We found some wines we really liked and ordered some glasses of wine after our wine flight. Would recommend for service and atmosphere. A fun date spot for before or after dinner. This is my second visit here.

Great wine's, best Pinot around, nice smooth Cab that can go against the best. The staff is the best very knowledgeable and welcoming. Must try this place!

Came here not knowing what to expect and had THEE BEST experience ever. Between the art, the wine, and the best part Juliana!, the whole experience was an absolute delight. I don’t live near the area but I would make the 1.5 hour drive as much as possible so I could come here as often as possible. My cousin brought here (as a wine club member for the last three years) and now I understand why. Do yourself a favor and come check this place out.

If I can give McClain and Juliana 6 stars, I would. This place is filled with so much care and thoughtfulness. I met Juliana a few years ago when I joined as a wine club member and she and others are so welcoming. It has been an incredible experience getting to do complimentary monthly wine tastings, making connections with those who work at McClain and also people who I meet here along the way. Highly recommend if you love good stupid wine and good company. ❤️❤️

We went up to Laguna for the day while my mom was in town. After the traffic, the first thing we wanted to do was get some wine. We happened to come across this awesome little tasting room as our first stop AND ENDED UP STAYING FOR 3 HOURS!! My wife and I visited the Solvang location not too long ago and absolutely loved it. Our wine-tender Juliana was absolutely incredible! So knowledge, fun and kind. We loved our wine and out time. We will definitely be back! We also happened to run into THOR who happened to help build the tasting room with his hammer. True story! Thanks McClain!!

Jason was a phenomenal host. He encouraged us to just sit back and relax and enjoy our time in the beautiful venue. No pressure to move on to the next taste and get out. Wines were delicious. Also tasted popcorn and purchased candles and vinegar in addition to wine. Can't wait to buy some of the artwork when it's available. I had a wonderful experience at McClain Buellton!! The wines are delicious, and the staff are super knowledgeable, attentive, and courteous. The patio is a great place to hang out, enjoy a flight, and play some yard games. Looking forward to my next visit!
Even though all the electricity was out in Buellton and the surrounding area, Reid and Tiffany the hosts at McClain were perky and ready to serve and the wine was delicious. I am a wine maker and own a wine tasting company and I would refer this place to everyone. Can't wait to visit soon. Try the popcorn too.

I just found out that McClain cellars is up in Buellton now! We signed up for their wine club after being gifted some of their wine last summer and we have been very pleased with everything we have received from them! The Tasting/Barrel Room is spectacular! It's not every place that you cab walk in that offers not only a great tasting service but lets you do it in such a cool space! Buellton is perfectly located in the middle of one of the great wine regions in the US, if not the world. Come on out and see this!

This is the best looking winery in the valley. So relaxing and awesome to hang out in. Their wines are unique and super yummy. New place, can't wait to come back. Plus you can walk to other wineries, a brewery, and industrial eats all on the same road!
