2020 Hope & Faith

Hope & Faith is derived from the La Presa Vineyard which overlooks the Santa Ynez River. With vines planted in 1974, this limited release of 100% Petite Sirah is handcrafted with love and passion. It has a nice dry touch with soft tannins that settle down after the first taste. Starting with a fruit-forward aroma, you will notice a touch of blackberry right away followed by a beautiful peppercorn spice. This one even offers a hint of sandalwood and dates, depending on what you pair it with. It is a remarkable and complex wine that changes with every taste.

VARIETAL: 100% Petite Sirah

VINEYARD: LaPresa Vineyard 

PAIRING: Pan-seared Ribeye steak with roasted potatoes and grilled asparagus. Will also pair well accompanied by a Capellini pasta with basil pesto & shrimp. This wine pairs delightfully with our Artisan Popcorn.

AGING: 20 months in 80% French oak and 20% American oak barrels

ALC: 15.3% by vol.

Named After: The hard times in life. When Jason lost everything he had, the only thing that got him through the hard times was his Hope & Faith.
